Banquet Cook - FT

Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of banquet food production to include, but not limited to the banquet menu items, specials event, displays/ presentations of all the banquet food items in accordance with standards and plating or buffet guide specifications. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
Experience: Minimum two year experience as a Banquet or Line Cook at 4 or 5 star hotel or restaurant.
Education: High school diploma; culinary certification preferred.
General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
