Golf Concierge

Primary responsibilities will consist of but not be limited to: a warm, friendly, informative, and entertaining greeting for all Members & Guests with the intent to enhance the golf experience at CordeValle. This position will assist in creating games for Members and Guests, informing players of course etiquette and general course information along with record keeping on each group to include first & last names, cart numbers, rental sets, turn times and overall pace of play, and location of groups on the course in case of emergency or for informational purposes. In addition this position will assisting customers with any needs for F&B or any other customer service needs to enhance their experience. Awareness of upcoming groups and close interaction with the staff for managing play and maximizing utilization of the tee sheet. Position must assist Golf Professional staff in enforcement of club rules and policies like pace of play and fivesome policies. Also this position will greet and interact with all groups turning from holes #9-#10, as well as all groups coming off of the golf course to ensure our guests shoes and clubs get cleaned and properly stored or taken to guest's vehicles. Finally this position will learn, understand, and implement CordeValle and Rosewood Mission

perform each duty proficiently.
Must have the ability to provide the highest level of customer service in the industry.
Strong interpersonal skills including name recognition.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to operate a Golf Car safely and transport all guests safely following all company safe practice standards.
Must be detail oriented and organized with ability to multi-task
Flexibility of hours and willingness to work more than 40 hours per week including holidays and weekends when needed.
Ability to work outdoors during all weather conditions with uniforms provided.
Must have ability to be a team player.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must have 2 years minimum golf industry experience.
High School Graduate
Prior work experience at resort and private golf facilities.
Strong understanding of high-end private club operations.
Knowledge of the game of golf.
Assist Professional staff on enforcing policies on and off the golf course.
Maintain an updated record of group names, tee times, and cart/caddie/walking charges.
Send cart messages to groups are lagging behind encourage them to speed their pace of play and offer suggestions such as playing ready golf, not looking for lost balls, playing a scramble type format, being sure to record scores on the next tee not the just completed green, parking carts in the appropriate location near greens.
After a request to increase pace of play, stay with the group to monitor their pace and provide a visible presence encouraging them to speed up. You should be visible but not intrusive at this point.
Communicate with Grill staff and assist locating groups on the golf course to minimize food ticket times, for course deliveries.
Keep track and pace of all walking groups. Communicate closely with GSA's to designate pick up times for our walking golfers coming from #9 green.
Have open communication with the Starter at all times in regards to changes on the tee sheet like cancels, add-ons, or any potential issues.
Greet guests and members as they come off of the course and perform the following:
Give guests a moist hand/face towel. When it's hot give a cold towel and when it's cold give a hot towel.
Thoroughly clean clubs and inspect cleanliness if caddie cleaned the guest's clubs.
Take golf clubs to the guests requested destination from bag storage, up to valet, into their vehicle, or to their room and communicate that information with the staff on channel #3.
Communicate with entire staff over channel #3. Who is going from #3 to #4, #9 to #10 as well as every group that comes off of the golf course.
Clean guests shoes post golf round. Utilize the air hoses and shoe shining station.
Ensure that the guests experience was up to our standards. Communicate with the team if any issues occurred to ensure the mistake does not happen again.
Assist any other department that requires help, for the sole purpose to ensure a memorable experience for our members/guests.
Back up the GSA's in their day to day operation if time permits, or back up is needed.
Make sure high traffic areas like the grill side and men's locker room always have the carts backed in, in an orderly fashion. Keeping our public areas visually pleasing and organized.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
