Golf Service Attendant - Lead

Individual is responsible for the supervisory role of the day to day outside golf operations. Primary responsibilities will consist of, but not limited to: maintaining golf car fleet, practice facility, player assistance, member/guest hospitality, tournament operations, and operating within a budget.

To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to
perform each duty proficiently.
Must be a strong and proven leader of the GSA staff and a complete team player.
This position needs to lead by example and must encompass all of the daily operations into his/her daily routine.
Must have the ability to manage the entire outside operation and take ownership of all outside operations.
Must have strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to delegate work in the most challenging of situations.
This position must be able to prioritize work in challenging situations and be able to stay calm and effective throughout.
Must have the ability to provide the most efficient and highest level of customer service in the industry.
Must have the ability to manage staff on a daily basis.
Valid Driver's License.
Minimum 2 years driving experience with a clean record.
Ability to operate a Golf Car safely and transport all guests safely following all company safe practice standards.
Must be detail oriented and organized with ability to multi-task
Flexibility of hours and willingness to work more than 40 hours per week including holidays and weekends on a regular basis.
Ability to work outdoors during all weather conditions with uniforms provided.
Must have strong communication skills.
High School Graduate
Prior work experience at resort and private golf facilities.
Strong understanding of high-end private club operations.
Knowledge of the game of golf.
Ability to work as a team player.
Ability to take lead from manager and produce results.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Anticipate the needs of members/guests.
Attention to detail.
Public speaking skills.
Leadership skills.
Ability to run a golf tournament.
Manage GSA staff on a daily basis.
Be prepared to handle all member and guest requests.
Greet members/guests as they arrive on property.
Unload golf clubs from vehicles.
Assist all members and guests while on property.
Provide towels for guests to use.
Provide cold water in ice chests throughout property.
Pick range balls, and keep range properly supplied at all times.
Maintain overall cleanliness and presentation of the range and practice facility.
Supply golf carts for the players to use.
Assist members/guest with pace of play.
Assist all walking groups with ride from #9-#10.
Double check hole locations for the day according to the hole location chart.
Double check restroom to ensure proper cleaning has been done.
Assist Members/guests with Hot/cold towels at completion of play.
Pick up walking groups form #9-#10
Detail golf carts and prepare for the next days play.
Store Members golf clubs in club storage.
Use the Pressure washer to clean all golf carts, and shuttles daily.
Ensure nightly that all carts and shuttles are accounted for.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
