Join us at Embark Behavioral Health as the House Supervisor of the newest short-term adolescent residential treatment center in San Martin, CA, located just outside of San Jose, in the historic Santa Clara Valley, one of California's oldest wine growing regions.
Serving teen girls and boys (gender fluid) ages 12 - 17, experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation and other mental health issues.
Pre-teens and teens reside at our Residential Treatment Center in our comfortable family-style residence, where community and interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.
Our clinical team and treatment center staff offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families, which includes a multi-modal family systems approach, to amplify and solidify change.
As a House Supervisor, you will be supported by an experienced Executive Director and Residential Director that are all focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families.

Responsibilities:
Supervise Residential Counselors (approx.
12)Residential counselors:
Ensure all trainings have been completed Document onboarding and training systems Responsive to employee surveys Time off request / time sheets approvals Ensure all meal breaks are taken on time Ensure all overtime is pre-approved and managedOverall eyes on the house each day Monitor residents Ensure healthy program culture and normsMinimize risks and maintain resident and staff safetyDevelop and grow people / onboarding and ongoing trainingBuild upon and optimize systems and processesCreate and present trainings to residential counselorsEmployee engagementEnsure room searches are completed and documentedMaintain attendance record Maintain staffing ratiosEnsure client requests are timely responded toEnsure JCAHO guideline documentation is timely completedEnsure house achieves tour ready status Perform Fire /earthquake drills monthly Develop schedule for staffing monthlyAttend treatment meetings weekly/documentationHousekeeping items as needed (dish washing, laundry, etc.

What do you bring to this position? Required:
One (1) year of supervision experience Leadership skills Organization/ability to schedule staff High school graduateEducation level Experience with adolescents/youth Desired:
